What does it mean?
How important are lyrics to artists? Why?
Lyrics represent the artists emotions throughout their song. It's important that the artist shares important events or personal experiences throughout his/her music. The lyrics also describe someone's legacy throughout their music career. It's the lyrics that make someone want to buy the song or purchase a CD, not the background beat. Usually, people link songs with the words inside the music because words are much easier to remember than the guitar solo. However, they're are songs out there today without any lyrics at all and yet their still big hits (classical music or fast moving techno music). A song can still be worth listening to whether it has lyrics or not.
